22812 : Stroll In The Park

Something I'm working on for my good friend Rotem. :)

There are times that people on in art communities will wonder about my process for drawing and planning things out. To be honest, it's not much different from how other artists work. :B I start with a loose sketch that is seen in the brown, and then move to cleaning things up as I go along.

The internal dialogue for this image changed so that's why Mina's pose changed and Sonic was scooted further up to give more space for the arms and make the silhouette more readable.

It's the weekend so I finally had time to work on this more. :D

The background was shot out my ass but I wanted the main focus to be on the main characters here. Plus I'm just tired. xD The background is a 100% done, but I added the white around the current inking process so I can see what I'm doing and ink more accurately. I will actually use the white as the base for my colors.

22412 : Grin Like You're Stupid

I am burdened with the unfortunate truth that if I want to keep my head straight in terms of personal projects and work, you know - that thing you do that gives you the green crumples and disc like shinies that let you buy more stuffs for art... I have to take breaks from my fandom projects quite more often than I would like. Which is why the below is sitting in my "to do" folder.

For those of you who don't this guy is part of my ongoing (but on hiatus due to above reasons) Sonic revamp project. Where I take things from the comics and games that were cool and pay tribute, and cull the retardation and obvious hackney writing that's gut bustingly funny (in a bad way).

And I know what I just did there. I've tarnished any chance at working for Archie due to that remark (I still love the comics despite what I say) but honestly my style would not allow for what they're going for... So, there's no real loss.

22312 : Stache

I normally don't draw people as much as I used to, and since a lot of my projects and personal funsies art  deals with animals or animal type anthros I decided to mess with things a bit via speedpaint. So I picked out a pick of a good friend of mine. Watch it mutate from horrible shit to something  half way recognizable.

 He oddly looks like an acquaintance of mine here....

Looks like he lost some weight and gained some color!

My friend and I were talking about the Sonic comics and how amazingly horrible some of the panels are. Which induced said friend to exaggerate (surprisingly not too much when you see the original image) the concept of al la "broken Sonic" that we've both coined in name and art. They sketched, I did the rest.
